Okay,,, more like a lil mini rant I think, I don't even know what I'm about to type, so, here goes...

Yesterday I was at a prerelease evemnt, as many of ya know, I'm an avid YuGiOh player, and recently got back into the game big time

I thougfht I'd miss out on a release of the brand new set: Crossrads of Chaos, a prerelease event, limited to a certain amouint of players, who basucally are able to buy a certain numbber of cards, and then have to construct your own deck from the cards you pull from the packs

Well, I managed to get in at a small local shop, they had a cancellation that my friend promptly yanked me round to...

We pulled some decent things, nothing major...

And duels commenced, I scraped my way into the final gour, and then, odds aabove odds, got into ithe finals, facing the same guy I played in the beginning rouds and klost to!

A quick synchro of Chain Dragon, and I clinched it... I'd won the prerelease

And my opponent felt pretty cheated, frstreated, h accepted my handshake...

And after shaking hands, using my lefyt instead, I got up, and was about to collect my prize, when I get tripped


Tripped

The guy is at least 5 years older than me, he's not even playing with his real deck, he sees me in plain sight wth cast in sling, and he trips me

I land, amnd unavle to get my good hand out gfall, body first onto my casted wrist

I spenbt the est of the day in hospital checking over my cst andh aving it changed, no new breaks, just messed me up a nit, and a bit more shaken for it

I'm doinf better, but still, I camn't get it out of myhead

Ive watched the game chNGE SINCE it begn, but still, have people and players really sank ths low?

I remember being shocked at the sheer elitism of thre yugioh community, but this is a new low

I just started getting back into the hgame, and I'd only jst made any real progress on my arm had stopped hurting as much

I'm casted til vhristmas, maybe even longer

I've got a lot of doubts in myhead, do I want to continue in s game where it seems less fun, or can I count off this guy as a one off?

Asides the incident, I was having fun too, and, with my right arm out of the way, raising a laugh or teo udsing even my teeth to play, lol..

Not to mebntion some cool trades and pulls from my prizes; overdrive teleporter, plaguespreader zomie, as well as my black rose dragon tee now...

What are your thoughts?
